My first knitted item...
Here is the story of my first knitting experience:
Once upon a time, while I was traveling to a far away country,
I met a young girl who was knitting herself a beautiful dress.
I found it so very nice, that I asked her to teach me how to do it.
She was very kind and patiently taught me her own way.
By the time I got back home, I had met a few other people who had taught me to knit as well.
Although their ways were different, I liked them as well.
I was a bit confused, and decided to work them out and see if I could also make myself a beautiful dress.
As you can all see, it did not quite work that way this time,
and I ended up with a scarf.
Then I thought I should give it to someone who needs it,
Thus I offered it to Tiber, my son-in-law of 6 years old at the time.

This brand new experience started in September 2003 and ended around December 2003.
I used some worsted weight wool from Lana Grossa.
